Krista Snyder has a love for both serving God and serving others. She loves sharing her faith with young children and is passionate about volunteering in her church. As a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Krista has served in several children’s ministries which include a Pre-Kindergarten Religious Education teacher for over 10 years; a craft crew leader for Vacation Bible School for over 15 years; and currently she leads the Handmaids of Mary, agroup for 3rd–6th grade girls who strive to be Mary-like in all they  say and do in imitation of the Blessed Mother. God has taught Krista many things through the course of these years of service. The most important message she wants to pass along to her readers is that God wants us to share our day with Him because He loves us so much. Krista’s first book, “Basil’s Blessings, My Special Day with God” is a model of how to meet and speak to God in each moment of our day. This builds our relationship with Him.

Krista attended West Chester University for 2 1/2 years enrolled in the Early Childhood program. In December, 1992, she chose to work full time for G. E. Richards Supplies, Inc., Landisville, Pennsylvania. She has been dedicated to her job as a Purchasing Agent for 29 years.

Spending time at home is something Krista enjoys. She is always planning for the next craft project, being outdoors or spending time with family and friends and reading books. Krista lives in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Mike, and their little dog, Buffy
